To consign with us
Step 1: Please provide us with a detailed description and as many detained photographs as possible of each item you are looking to consign. Please email the information to email@example.com
Step 2 : After our expert appraisers review the submitted description and photographs , we will provide you with estimates as to the worth of your items.
Should you have many items to consign, our appraisers may chose to view the items in person for a free consultation.
Please be advised that estimates may vary once the item is seen in person.
Step 3: Once your items are viewed, we will advise you to weather we believe you should consign your goods online or we believe you would fare better by consigning your goods in our showroom .
Online: The merchandise is kept at the consignor's home. The merchandise will be placed for sale on our online sale channels. We will also advertise the merchandise to all our customers 'database The goods must be kept in good clean condition and ready for prompt movement should the item sell
In-store: The item will be on display for sell at our exclusive partner Greenwich Living Antiques and Design Center (GLAD), located in Stamford , CT. All items will also be featured on our online sale channels. 1st Source Consignment (1st SC) will organize the pick up and shipment of the pieces to GLAD. The consignor is responsible for all shipping and packing fees to our showroom as well as insurance of the goods during the duration of the item being at GLAD.
Once the consignment agreement is accepted by the consignor, 1st SC will have full right and title to sell the consigned item (s). We reserve the right to accept, reject or counter the received buying offers as we see fit.
Shipping (for online Consignment)
For small and light items, we will send the consignor a shipping label covering the cost of shipping. The consignor is responsible for packing and shipping the item.
For heavy items, we will arrange for the pick up of the item. the consignor is not responsible for anything except having the item ready. The buyer pays all shipping fees.
If the consignment is online only , the consignor will receive 70% of the paid invoice less all the expenses
If the consignment is both online and in-store, the consignor will receive 60% of the paid invoice less all expenses
We will issue the payment to the consignor , less applicable fees within two weeks of the sale.
We offer payments by paypal, direct deposit or mailed check. The payment will be issued within two of weeks of the sale.
